How We Operate: A Promise To Protect

Each of our clients enjoys a unique market position, earned by doing something better than its competitors, whether creating innovative packaging solutions for manufactured goods, solving a shipping and delivery challenge, using innovation to make products more efficient and cost-effective, or providing a one-of-a-kind experience or service. Our clients’ brands signify to consumers a promise of innovation, quality, service, affordability and/or prestige, and earn for our clients tremendous goodwill among consumers and potential purchasers.

SNEED PLLC partners with each client to protect the client’s most precious intangible assets – the client’s brands and associated goodwill and other intellectual property rights – by protecting the legal and market space in which the client operates. We do this by securing and enhancing intellectual property rights through prosecution and portfolio management, and by devoting forceful and determined but cost-effective representation to enforcing those hard-earned rights, such as in proceedings before administrative agencies like the U.S. Trademark Trial and Appeal Board and in litigation in the federal courts.

We stop competitors’ encroachment upon our clients’ market position. While we initially seek to counsel our clients in the selection and clearance of strong trademarks with the goals of rapid consumer acceptance and long-term enforceability in mind, our nimble size and focused expertise enable us to thrive when confronted with a challenge in the midst of a brand’s life cycle. Further, we assist our clients in obtaining protection for their artistic creations – a song, a book, a design for clothing, or a compilation of videos, for example – and enforcing the rights in those creations.

This is our commitment to you: Your Brand is Your Promise … Promises Protected.

Our Legal Team

Our firm draws strength from its three attorneys, who each bring a history of accomplishment and focus within intellectual property practice areas.

Ms. Sneed has served as a trademark associate and patent paralegal for a Houston-based boutique firm, and a paralegal for an international bank. She devotes her talent to trademark prosecution and clearance, litigation support and to communicating with clients about the status and progress of their legal matters.
